Orange Chili Sauce

This Orange Chili Sauce combines orange juice, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, coconut sugar, sesame oil, and apple cider vinegar for a tangy and spicy condiment that can easily be added to various dishes.

Instructions

    Set a nonstick skillet on medium heat.

  2. 2.

    Add orange, chili sauce, soy sauce, coconut sugar and sesame oil. Bring to a gentle simmer.

  3. 3.

    Mix arrowroot with water so that it’s slushy, then add to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and quickly stir so that it thickens.

  4. 4.

    Remove from the heat to cool and thicken, then add the apple cider vinegar to balance the flavors.

  5. 5.

    Store in an airtight glass jar in the fridge.

Notes

  • A little bland, but a little bit goes a long way and should easy to use later
